LSI

LSI or Latent Semantic Indexing is the focus of all webmasters who are looking for associated phrases to their web site theme.

LSI is very interesting in that it not only associate known synonyms withe words, but phrases with ‘synonym phrases‘. These phrases are not as defined in a dictionary, but rather as people (like you and me) associate the phrases with each other.

An example of latent sematic indexing is a search in Google for ‘fibreglass moulds’ and not so strangely the phrase ’small business’ is accociated with the term. Initially I thought is was VERY strange, and after while realized that that is what other ‘normal’ people would sometimes associate it with.
